A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN makes its UK premiere at the Peacock Theatre, Sadlers Wells' home in the West End, on 20 August starring Mary Bridget Davies as Janis, running until 28 September 2024.

The passion of her music and the soul of her work comes right out of the speakers to you (not AT you).

Ms. Davies was accompanied by acclaimed NYC musicians such as Clint DeGanon on drums (Stevie Wonder, West Side Story), Mark Berman on piano (Sex In The City, Bullets Over Broadway), Alex Prezzano on guitar (A Night With Janis Joplin) and Dave Richards on Bass (Hamilton, Indigo Girls).

As with all performers, Mary Bridget Davies' upcoming tour dates were either cancelled or rescheduled. However, the Tony Award Nominee and her record company, Broadway Records decided that the show must go on! The album, Stay With Me: The Reimagined Songs Of Jerry Ragovoy was still released on March 22nd.

Folk-country pop singer-songwriter Crystal Bowersox, an American Idol finalist who was the first contestant in the program's history to have one of her original songs played on the show, returns to Club Helsinki Hudson on Thursday, July 16, at 8pm.

Mary Bridget Davies is best known for her Tony nominated turn as Janis Joplin in A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN on Broadway, and is a premiere interpreter of Joplin's music, even having the chance to tour with Janis Joplin's original band, Big Brother and the Holding Company.

Tony nominee Mary Bridget Davies, best known for her onstage work channeling the late rock icon Janis Joplin, will release an album of compellingly reimagined songs by the legendary songwriter and Grammy® winning producer Jerry Ragovoy. The album is dedicated  to Davies' sister who tragically took her own life. Broadway Records will release the studio album, digitally and in stores, on Friday, March 20, 2020. Today, Broadway Records /1650 Records /LOML Records released 'The Right of Way' from Tony-nominated singer Mary Bridget Davies. This is the first track from Stay With Me:  The Reimagined Songs of Jerry Ragovoy, to be released in January 2020. Written by the renowned songwriter, this is the first time the track has been recorded and released. 'The Right of Way' showcases Davies' powerful vocals, honed over many years as Janis Joplin in Love Janis and A Night With Janis Joplin.

A Little Love, the striking debut album from vocalist extraordinaire Quiana Lynell, will be released by Concord Jazz on April 5th, 2019.

In their continuing effort to broaden its musical scope, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series at The Appel Room Saturday night presented two-time Tony Award nominee Andy Karl (Rocky, On the Twentieth Century) and his Tony-Award nominee wife Orfeh (Legally Blonde) performing together in concert for the first time.
