Lakewood Theatre Company 2012-2013 Season to Include SOUTH PACIFIC, WHITE CHRISTMAS, RUMORS, More

Lakewood Theatre Company will celebrate its 60th anniversary season with six productions on its Mainstage and three productions on its Side Door stage beginning July 13, 2012. Season tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale now and prices for the six-show season range from $170.00 - $160.00. Performances are Thursday -Saturday at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 7:00 PM and some Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. Season tickets can be purchased at the LTC Box Office at 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Box Office hours are 9-5 weekdays and 10-4 on Saturdays. Call 503-635-3901 to charge your order by phone. Welcome to our 60th season! The anniversary year with includes such highlights as the Pulitzer Prize winning musical South Pacific, the provocative comedy 'ART' and the Portland area premiere of the musical Grand Hotel. Plus, orders received before June 1 will receive discounted tickets to our summer show, the British comedy, See How They Run.

This year also includes new added options for subscribers. Now subscribers can pre-order tickets to our Lost Treasures Collection Series on our Side Door stage, Lakewood in Lights (our holiday gala and fundraiser) and a special reprise of last year's run away hit, Irving Berlin's White Christmas for December 2012!

Set during World War II, this Pulitzer Prize-winning musical tells the romantic story of two couples and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and prejudices. The show is based on the 2008 Broadway revival of "South Pacific," which won seven Tony Awards. The beloved score's songs include "Some Enchanted Evening," "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair," "This Nearly Was Mine" and "There is Nothin' Like a Dame."

Come spend an evening at the Grand Hotel Berlin. It's 1928 and the optimism between World Wars is in full swing. Based on the novel by Vicki Baum and subsequent MGM feature film, the musical captures the high life and optimism of Berlin in 1928. The hotel brings together vibrant characters, both wealthy and poor, where "one life ends while another begins," and "one heart breaks while another beats faster."
