Sherlock Holmes is the greatest detective the world has ever known. Dr. Watson is the world's greatest detective sidekick. Mrs. Hudson is the world's greatest... housekeeper? Join Holmes and Watson as they race through the cobbled streets of London to catch a killer! Will they succeed? Will the Empire Topple? Will Mrs. Hudson have to clean up the mess? The show was created by Fringe Legends Christopher Bange (The Excursionists-"5 Stars") and Dave Dawson (Black Sheep Theatre- "5 Stars") Emily Windler (Poe and Mathews) and Brian Kuwabara (Poe and Mathews).
The cast of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Hansom Cab Killer is entirely comprised of Dell'Arte: Int'l School of Physical Theater graduates. This play is directed by Dave Dawson of Black Sheep Theatre, which is a theater company out of Ottawa, Ontario that has been touring the fringe for over a decade. Christopher Bange(writer and cast member) has had a possible unhealthy obsession with Sherlock Holmes and silliness since he was a child.

Christopher Bange is a magician, clown, and actor from Seattle, WA. He received is BA in Theater from Western Washington University and then went on to study clown and other physical theater forms at Dell'arte: International School of Physical Theater in Northern California. Since then he has been acting, creating and producing his own plays, and doing magic in the greater Seattle area. Chris has created original plays such as Is This Your Duck?, The Red Nose, Have You Seen My Dog?, The Case of the Vanishing Crown Jewel: A Ziplock Holmes Mystery, The Excursionist 1 and 2, The Medicine Show, More Bange for Your Buck!, The Fat Guy Show, and Sherlock Holmes and The Hansom Cab Killer!
Brian Kuwabara hails from Los Angeles, Ca. He has an MFA from the Dell 'Arte school of physical theater. Brian has been clowning for over 5 years, doing improv for over 10 years, and loves mask work. Most recently he has been touring Poe and Mathews: a Misadventure in the Middle of Nowhere, an absurd clown show, and Sherlock Holmes: The case of the Hansom Cab Killer, a hilarious Holmes Romp.
Emily Windler lives in Los Angeles, California and is a graduate of the MFA physical theater program at Dell'Arte International. Her expertise lies in clowning, mask performance, commedia dell'arte, and the seriousness of comedy! She has recently toured with Wonderheads' production of Grim & Fischer in 2011, Black Sheep Theatre's Sherlock Holmes: the case of the Hansom Cab Killer, and Poe and Mathews: a Misadventure in the Middle of Nowhere, an absurd clown play she co-wrote, in New York and Seattle.
